Cox 11 Presents Hollywood Hal and Rhinestone Al, a Fun and Educational Team for Youngsters
Cox will launch the “Hal and Al” (www.halandal.com) children’s television show every Saturday morning @ 11am and Sunday Mornings at 8am on its local programming channel, Cox 11 starting January 12th. The Show will also air on air on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 10am.
Thanks to Cox Communications and the new popular children’s characters Hollywood Hal & Rhinestone Al, learning for children in Hampton Roads has never been more fun!
The educational entertainment duo features the popular characters created by multi-award winning radio personality Scott Innesalso the voice of Scooby Dooand singer, songwriter, actor Jim Hogg. And don’t forget the Wannabeesno act is complete without some backup singers, but these come with the added bonus of being children to whom the group’s target audience can relate.
The message of Hollywood Hal & Rhinestone Al is simple, and is contained in the daily episodes with songs designed to teach kids manners, the importance of following your dreams, brushing your teeth and learning your ABCs. The music and message are geared toward Pre-K to 7 year old youngsters, and even touches on some more serious subject matters, like the danger of taking a ride with strangers, but all with a fun twist that little ones can understand.
The Hal and Al show includes the popular Hal & Al theme song sung by country music superstar Neal McCoy with artwork designed by award winning Walt Disney artist Scott Neely. Music produced by Grammy nominee Nelson Blanchard.
The Louisiana-based television series first premiered in Baton Rouge in 2006, and is now expanding to other Cox markets around the country.
