Cox 11 and 97.3 The Eagle Give Hampton Roads Music To Watch

Hampton Roads television viewers can now tune in Sunday nights at 9pm to see their favorite country music hits as voted on by their friends and neighbors.  Cox 11 and 97.3 The Eagle radio are teaming up to present "Hampton Roads 20," a new weekly hour of local television that runs down the top 20 country music hits as determined by voters to the 97.3 The Eagle web site (www.eagle97.com) during the week.

Hosted by Mark McKay, the show will originate from the Eagle 97 studios and will feature news and updates from the national and local country music scene, concert news, special guests and exclusive interviews.

"Country music is a big part of this region," says Cox 11 Station Manager Dan Cawley, "and Cox 11 is excited about teaming up with Eagle 97 to get the cameras rolling and the music playing."

I figured 21 and a half hours a week on the radio wasn't enough, so why not an hour on TV, too?” says Mark KcKay from The Eagle. "Seriously, we're flattered to have been asked to partner with Cox 11 in taking the Hampton Roads 20 radio show to the tube, and I'm excited to add 'TV host' to my resume!

“Hampton Roads 20” will encore several times during the week.
